David White is an acclaimed British Makeup FX Designer and founder of Altered States FX, with a career spanning over four decades in film and television.

Known for his exceptional prosthetic, character and creature design, David has worked on major productions including Guardians of the Galaxy, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, The Northman and Nosferatu. His work has earned him three Academy Award nominations for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.

Based at Shepperton Studios, David continues to combine artistry, technical expertise and meticulous craftsmanship to create some of cinema’s most memorable character transformations.
