Ticket Conditions of Sale

These 'Ticket Conditions of Sale' should be read in conjunction with The Prosthetic Event's 'Terms and Conditions', 'Shipping Terms & Pricing', 'Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy' and 'Privacy and Cookies Policy'.

  • Any queries regarding the terms and conditions of sale should be raised with The Prosthetics Event prior to the purchase of tickets.
  • This year's Event tickets are digital ONLY (a.k.a. an e-ticket). You will receive instructions on how to download and/or print your ticket after you buy it. It is your responsability to present a functioning mobile device with the digital ticket at the time of check-in on the day of the Event. Alternatively you can also present a printed version of your e-ticket.
  • Do not share your own ticket with someone else by any means. Your e-ticket has assigned a unique code and on the day of the Event, once signed-in/scanned on entrance, it can not be used again. Records are kept of the original purchaser and any person(s) the ticket might be re-assigned to.
  • Purchase of a ticket does NOT guarantee a seat for any talk at any of the Event's stages. Some lectures are highly sought, and queues form early. For Legal and Health and Safety reasons, under no circumstance will the capacity of any venue be exceeded. Further info on our FAQ's.
  • There is no official age restriction but under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone under 18 must have their ticket bought by an adult also. If you’re bringing a child, we need to advise you that there will be casualty, gore and monster effects on display plus partial nudity in the Body Art Zone as the artists create their full body art pieces. If you are happy that this is suitable for the child in question, you’re welcome to bring them along. Children aged 12 and under will be admitted free of charge. 1 per each ticket holder. However, you will have to warn us in advance that they are coming. There is a limit on attendants at the venue for Health & Safety reasons. If you have not warned us in advance and all available tickets have been sold not taking into account children visiting, those children will not be able to be let in instead of someone that bought a ticket. However early you arrive.
  • Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or resold via ticketing platforms. You can, however, re-assign the holder of the ticket to someone else of your choosing. Instructions to do the latter will be available once you purchase the ticket. We do however advise you to buy one ticket per transaction to avoid the hassle and potential for mistakes when re-assigning a ticket to someone else.
  • The Prosthetics Event will not take responsibility nor be liable for refund or replacement of tickets that you mistakenly re-assign to someone else or buy in excess of your needs.
  • The Prosthetics Event will not take responsibility for the validity of tickets purchased from unauthorised agents or other sources.
  • The Prosthetics Event will not be responsible for any ticket that is lost, stolen, erased or destroyed.
  • The Prosthetics Event reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised programme at any time and without advance notice.
  • The Prosthetics Event are not liable for any personal travel, accommodation or hospitality arrangements made by you, relating to the event or a cancellation of the event date. If the event is cancelled permanently, instead of rescheduled, we will return the total value of your order, minus all or part of booking fees covering service costs and charges already incurred.
  • In the occurrence of an event being rescheduled, all tickets, will be automatically transferred to the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date please contact us. The Prosthetics Event is not liable for any personal travel, accommodation or hospitality arrangements made relating to the event or the rescheduling of any event.
  • The Prosthetics Event believes that customers shouldn’t pay more than the face value of a ticket. To deter people from buying tickets from us to sell on for personal gain, it is sometimes necessary to require you to produce the credit/debit card used for the original transaction and/or a valid form of photographic ID at the time of checking in to the venue.
  • We advise against coming to a sold-out event without a ticket. If you do come to The Prosthetics Event without a ticket, we strongly advise against buying from touts that might operate in the area, whose tickets may be fraudulent or invalid. Once the Event is sold-out no one else will be allowed to attend under any circumstances. Do read our FAQ's.
  • It is your responsibility to check your order/tickets to check they are correct and contact us immediately if there is a mistake. The Prosthetics Event will not be responsible for any issues that occurred as result of the booker’s mistake. Any known issues with your order that have occurred as a result of the venue will be communicated to you as soon as reasonably possible.
  • An order is confirmed once you have received online confirmation and an order confirmation email. We will get in touch to let you know if there are any issues with your order and will proceed to help rectify this for you, subject to availability. If you receive neither of the above mentioned notifications you should get in touch at info@TheProstheticsEvent as soon as possible and no less than a week in advance of the Event's scheduled date.
  • Proof of identity and concession entitlement (e.g. valid ID showing age and/or student status) may be required at the time of admission into the event.
  • It is the booker’s responsibility to ensure their contact details are correct at the time of booking. If tickets issued by us are returned before an event date as ‘addressee unknown’ due to a mistake on your email address for example, we will not be aware of this as we assume all data entered by the booker is correct. You should make every effort to contact us via an alternative (correct) contact method in the first instance you are aware of this and up to a week before the Events' date.
  • If we discover an error in the price of the tickets you have purchased, we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible to reconfirm your order at the correct price. If you are unable to reconfirm the order at the correct price, we will issue you with a full refund. If we are unable to contact you via the contact details provided, we will treat your order as cancelled and refund you.
  • Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number. Any such restriction will be communicated to you on the event webpage. The Prosthetics Event reserves the right to cancel and refund tickets purchased in excess of the limit and without prior notice, unless the excess was as a result of our error.
    • Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged except on the permanent cancellation or substantial alteration of the schedule as a result of the event promoters' actions. A change of main speaker or any other speakers does not constitute a substantial alteration. Force majeure events are also outside the scope of reasons that might entitle you to a refund. E.g. a pandemic and/or pandemic lockdown; systemic country, region-wide or venue related power grid outages; extreme weather conditions; industrial action and strikes; etc.
    • Ticket pricing is subject to change at any time without notice and is only fixed at the time of booking. Discounts/offers cannot be applied retrospectively.
    • Failure to comply with these and other Terms & Conditions of Use and Sale will make your ticket and transaction void.
